Okay. So here is what is going on this Wednesday, in greater detail.
Meeting will start around 5PM in the Presidential Room in the Maucker Union. The room is in the lower level (so you have to go downstairs to find it).
Once people are situated, the meeting will start. The first order of business will be introducing the Internet Club, and what some plans are.
The second order of business will be venue/format. This will be where people have a chance to say when and where they want the club to meet, as well as what they want to see from the club.
The third order of business is Officer elections. At present, four positions are open. If before you are thinking of running for an office, but would like more information, feel free to contact us.
That will take care of all of the business that is planned. From there, it’s into the recreational aspects. If there’s enough time, we’ll have an open discussion time to allow people to introduce themselves to each other and get acquainted. After that, we’ll hold some game competitions, where top scorers/placers will receive prizes.
One last note: The Internet Club is dedicated to exploring and discussing the internet. For people who have laptops and have gone to the ITTC building and gotten Wifi permissions, we highly suggest you bring your laptop as it will enhance club discussions and activities.
